Mahabaleshwara M. S. inducted to the Managing Committee of Indian Banks Association

Mangaluru, Sept 11, 2019: Mahabaleshwara M S, Managing Director & CEO of Karnataka Bank has been inducted to the Managing Committee of Indian Banks’ Association, (IBA) Mumbai. This was announced during the Annual General Meeting of IBA held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Mumbai.  He has been elected unopposed from the Private Sector Member Banks’ category.

Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) is a parent Association of the Bankers wherein Public Sector, Private Sector, Foreign Banks operating in India are the members of the Association. The membership of the Association stood at 253 comprising Ordinary Members 144 and Associate members 109 as on 30.08.2019.

“I feel honoured and privileged to become a member of the Managing Committee of IBA. It is a unique recognisition and opportunity to serve the Banking fraternity through IBA. I thank the CEOs of all the private sector banks for electing me unopposed to the Committee” said Mr. Mahabaleshwara M S, MD & CEO while welcoming the announcement. Mahabaleshwara M S is MD & CEO of Karnataka Bank since April 2017.
