Magisterial probe commences in Mangaluru violence case

Mangaluru, Dec 30, 2019: The magisterial probe into the violence that broke out in Mangaluru during the protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act on December 19, has commenced. The state government had ordered that the probe be done by a team led by Udupi Deputy Commissioner Jagadeesh.

Accordingly, the Udupi DC who arrived in Mangaluru on Monday has initiated investigation. He visited  the State Bank area and  Nellikai Road   and gathered details regarding the incident.
