Madikeri accident claims lives of 2 Farangipete youth

Mangaluru, Feb 24, 2016: A road accident  near Talatmane in Madikeri  on February 24, Wednesday evening has claimed the lives of two youth from Farangipete. Four others sustained injuries in the mishap.

 

The deceased are Shafiq (20), son of Sadiq from 10th Mailugallu, Farangipet, a resident of Tumbay and Sameer (21), son of Ibrahim, a resident of Kumpanamajalu, Farangipet. Those injured are
V H Ashfan (18), Tafseer (18), Irfan (19) from 10th Mailugallu, and Sameer (19) of Kumpanamajalu.

All the four have been shifted to a private hospital in Mangaluru. The condition of Sameer, Irfan and Ashfan is said to be critical.

The mishap occurred when a tipper rammed against their car. While the deceased Shafiq was working for Thumbay Sarafa sand transportation trucks, Sameer was employed in a garment store.

The injured Tafseer and Ashfan were BDPS students, while Irfan is a   II PUC student of National Tutorial College and Sameer, a diploma student at PA College.
