Madhwaraj will excel in any portfolio he is given

Udupi, June 19, 2016: Television channels beamed news reports that Pramod Madhwaraj, Udupi MLA, is set  to be inducted as a Minister in the State Cabinet on June 19, Sunday, Congress party leaders and workers burst crackers in front of the Udupi Clock Tower.

Those present at the hype Meenakshi Bannanje, president of Udupi  CMC, City Municipal Council, Ramesh Kanchan, Janardhan Bhandarkar, Satish Amin, Chandrika Shetty, Diwaker Kundar, Yatish Karkera, and Gita Shet, Congress leaders all.

Ramesh Kanchan said here that MLA Madhwaraj had done a good job as Parliamentary Secretary to the Revenue Minister. “He will shine in whichever Ministry is given to him. There will be more development in Udupi city and district,” he said.

Meanwhile, there was despondency among supporters of Urban Development Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, who, according to the television channels, was likely to lose his post in the Cabinet reshuffle.

The leaders of Billava community, to which Minister Sorake belongs, will be holding a meeting to discuss political developments at Katapady near here on Sunday, June 19.
