Speaking on the occasion, Shobha said dairy farming has  turned out to be a big industry which has  brought prosperity to the lives of several farmers who  otherwise incurred loss by growing commercial crops.

Pointing out that the government was now providing a subsidy of Rs 5 per litre to the dairy farmers, Shobha demanded further encouragement  to dairy farmers.
