He was addressing party workers during his visit to the BJP office at B C Road on Friday night.

Nalin claimed that the district had received maximum grant during the chief ministership of B S Yeddyurappa. "The Dakshina Kannada district with seven BJP MLAs and a BJP MP has become  Congress Mukt, similarly with 25 seats for the BJP in the state, even Karnataka has become  Congress Mukt.  The Congress is even unfit for the Opposition leader’s post," said Nalin.

Local MLA Rajesh Naik honoured Nalin on the occasion.  Spokespersons Sulochana Bhat, Harikrishna Bantwal and other party leaders were present.

Nalin also sought the blessings of Taniyappa Madivala, the father of late Sharath Madivala who was killed in B C Road in July 2017.
