MP Nalin inaugurates ’Cornea Andhatva Mukt Bharath Abhiyan’

Mangaluru, August 28, 2016: Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar inaugurated the Cornea Andhatva Mukt Bharath Abhiyan,  a dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Narayana Netralaya here on August 28, Sunday. On this occasion the MP signed a consent letter pledging to donate his eyes.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Nalin also requested the people to pledge to donate their lives so that it  lights up the lives of others. He further called upon the people to  co-operate in the success of the project that aims at eradicating blindness.

Dr Bharath Shetty, Dr Vishnu Prabhu, former MLC Monappa Bhandary, Annayya Kulal and others who were also present signed consent letters for eye donation.
