MP Nalin all praise for railway budget of DVS

Mangalore,July 9, 2014 : Dakshina Kannnada  MP Nalin Kumar Kateel is  all praise for the Railway Budget presented by  Union Railway Minister DV Sadananda Gowda on July 8, Tuesday. He said it was for the first time in the history of the coastal districts that they have got a bumper offer in the Railway Budget.

Nalin said the Minister who has responded favourably to the various railway demands of the region, has announced projects that would play a complementary role in the formation of the Mangalore Railway Division.

The Ullal-Suratkal double line  project,  the Shringeri-Mangalore-Shimoga line,  new trains on Kasargod-Mangalore-Byndoor  sector and Kanhangad -Panattur-Kaniyoor and the Mangalore-Bangalore express train proposals are welcome, he said adding the Narendra Modi led government has made a big contribution to the coastal belt.
