MP Nalin Kumar Kateel inaugurates Thokkottu flyover

Mangaluru, June 13, 2019: After an inordinate delay  the  Thokkottu flyover  on the National Highway 66 between Mangaluru and Kasargod has finally been inaugurated on June 13, Thursday morning.  The flyover project which   had missed several earlier deadlines was inaugurated by Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, Nalin  said the inaugural of the flyover is a dream come true. He also stated that  financial constraints had  delayed the project. He further assured that even Pumpwell flyover project would be completed at the earliest.

Nalin further stated that a decision on Thokkottu bypass and Service Road will be taken after consultations with Minister U T Khader and other officials.

The Thokkottu flyover project which was taken up   almost eight years ago had literally limped till the finishing stages.
