MP Hegde’s car hits Trax vehicle

Udupi, June 10, 2012: Udupi-Chikmagalur MP Jayaprakash Hegde’s Innova car collided with a Trax vehicle coming from the other side at around 11:00 a.m. on Sunday when he was on his way to attend a parliamentary standing committee meeting in Balehonnoor. 

N. Shashi Kumar, SP for Chikmagalur, said that Mr. Hegde was on his way from Kundapura to Balehonnoor when the accident occurred. 

No one was injured in the accident, and alternative arrangements were made to take Mr. Hegde to the meeting, said Mr. Shashi Kumar.
