MLA Vedavyas Kamath allays fears of Central Market merchants on shifting to APMC Yard

Mangaluru, April 13, 2020:  Mangaluru South MLA D Vedavyas Kamath has allayed the apprehensions of the merchants of Central Market who have now shifted to the APMC Yard at Baikampady as per the instructions of the Mangaluru City Corporation. He has assured all merchants that they will get all required facilities at the APMC Yard at Baikampady in the days to come and that all licensed merchants at Central Market  can continue operations at the APMC yard.

 

He however stated that  at the APMC Yard products can be sold only  to retail store owners and not to the general public. The public on the other hand have to purchase from the grocery stores of their locality, the MLA clarified.

 He also assured  to make alternate arrangements immediately  for retail sellers,  vegetable vendors and sellers of other items at Central Market.
