The City Corporation had earlier snapped   power supply  to the  building after the traders were asked to function at the Baikampady APMC yard during the lockdown.

Meanwhile water supply to the Central Market building  is yet to be restored. So far 33 merchants have renewed licenses and they will be allowed to carry out business at the Market building, Mayor Diwaker Pandeshwar has said.

The City Corporation move comes after the High Court allowed those merchants who earlier operated from here, to carry on their business in the building.
