MESCOM lineman injured as branch falls off in Karangalpady

Mangaluru Oct 07, 2016: MESCOM lineman injured as the branch of a huge tree fall on him near St Aloysious School in Karangalpady on October 07, Friday.

 

The line men were engaged in cutting the branches of the tree in this area. As the lineman  tried repair the powerline, climbed the electric pole. The other who was  cutting the branches did not notice him , it fell on him.  His head injury was rushed to a private hospital here.

The situation became worse as the private bus moving in this path crashed into the wire breaking it.
