MCC approves road concreting and apartment for workers

Mangaluru, July 4, 2015: According to information, MCC -  Mangaluru City Corporation may go in  for  renewing Mallikatta and Manjunatha Temple connecting road at Kadri and concretise it.  MCC approved the proposal to spend near 90 lakhs.

The MCC  it is said approved  construction of  apartment for pourakarmikas at Mahakalipadpu,  estimated at  Rs. 2.5 crore.

The blocks would house  30 houses and each floor would have at least eight flats.

About  60 pourakarmikas, who have served  10 years and more  do not have either own sites or houses. It is said the  worker would have to foot about  20 per cent of the cost.
