MCAHS Inaugurates Medical Imaging 2009

The medical imaging technology department of Manipal College of Allied Health Sciences (MCAHS), one of the 3 colleges in India to offer post graduate courses in medical imaging technology, organized Medical Imaging 2009 Convention where the vast scope of employment opportunities in medical imaging technology was discussed.

Dr. H. S. Ballal, the vice chancellor of Manipal University inaugurated the convention at Hotel Value View. Dr. Vinod Bhat, the chancellor of international programmes in universities, appreciated the college for presenting a course in medical imaging. 

Dr. V R K Rao, the head of the KMC Radio Diagnosis department presented the report. Dr. B Rajashekar, the dean of the college, welcomed the gathering. P. N. Joshi, a senior radiographer, was facilitated at the inauguration programme.
