Mangaluru, Sep 1, 2016: According to a media release received here, MBC, Mangalore Bicycle Club in association with Firefox Bikes is organizing Firefox Freedom Race 2016 on September 11, 2016.
This is a unique initiative of MbC and for the first time in Mangalore this opens a window of opportunities to all passionate cyclists to participate in a race of 25 kms stretch where the evaluation criterion is Speed.
This September will see the first cycling race in Mangalore and our plan is to continue this in the coming years too. Cyclists from Mangalore, Udupi-Manipal and Madikeri will be invited for participation in this event. Hi-end bikes of any kind and type are allowed in this race. Race route- Kuloor Junction- Kuloor Kavoor road- KPT- NH 66- Kuloor Junction
Registration for the race is now open. Registration can be done on our website http://mangalorebicycleclub.com/ and also at our registered office i.e. Mangalore Bicycle Club, Prakash Offset Printers, Navbharat Circle K.S Rao Road. We will also be having a 10 km Freedom Rally which will be open for all Mangalorean cyclist to participate and win 3 lucky draws. This is mainly to encourage children and adults to take out their bicycles and pedal to a better and healthier tomorrow. Rally route- Kuloor Junction- Kuloor Kavoor road and back to Kuloor Junction.
