Lorry overturns near Maani ; driver unhurt

Vittal, Jun 19, 2021:  A lorry transporting a cement mixer machine  went out of control of the driver and landed  in a ditch on the roadside near Maani on the Mangaluru-Bengaluru National Highway on June 19, Saturday.

 

The  lorry was heading towards  Baikampady in Mangaluru from Uppinangady when the mishap took place. It is learnt, the driver tried to avert collision with a car resulting in the accident.

Luckily the driver escaped unhurt. However, the lorry and the cement mixer have suffered damage.

Vittal Police have registered a case.
