Lokayukta Vishwanath Shetty warns officials against delay in redressal of public grievances

Mangaluru, Nov 17, 2017: A  Public Grievances  Hearing and Redressal Programme organised at the Town Hall here on November 17, Friday  was inaugurated by Lokayukta Justice  P Vishwanath Shetty.

Speaking on the occasion, Justice Shetty said the main objective of the programme was to ensure that  there was speedy redressal of public grievances so that  there is least inconvenience. He also told officials not to delay redressing public grievances and warned of stern action against officials with a lackadaisical approach.

Lokayukta Additional Registrar Mohan, Lokayukta SP Rashmi, Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil, Dakshina Kannada SP Sudheer Kumar Reddy, City Police Commissioner  T R Suresh and others were present.

Several members of the public aired their grievances on the occasion.
