Local body polls: Majority for BJP in Moodbidri, Sullia

Mangaluru, May 31, 2019: BJP has secured majority in the Moodbidri Municipal Council and Sullia Town Panchayat elections for which were held recently. However, in the elections held to Mulki Town Panchayat no party has secured clear majority.

 

In Sullia BJP won 14 seats and Congress got four seats. Others bagged two seats.

In Moodbidri Municipal Council elections, BJP got 12 seats while Congress bagged 11 seats. In Mulki however, Congress got nine seats and BJP eight seats. JD(S)  also secured a seat here.
