Lobo opposes withdrawal of cases against BJP leaders; seeks probe

Mangaluru, September 10, 2020: Former MLA J.R. Lobo who has taken strong exception to the withdrawal of as many as 62 criminal cases against BJP leaders, has demanded that the Supreme Court must intervene in this issue. The court must stay the government order, he said adding there must also be an enquiry.

Speaking to reporters  on September 10, Thursday he said though the government says the decision on withdrawing cases against BJP leaders was as per the recommendations of a sub-committee, the decision has revealed that the  government was following one policy for the common man and another for the elected representatives.
