Lobo inspects development work in Pilikula

Mangaluru, April 6, 2015 :  Reviewing the construction of  main gate, planetarium, artisan village and other beautification works as well as maintenance and expansion work underway, MLA  J R Lobo visited Pilikula Nisargadhama and various development works in the park on April 4.

The MLA said that the huge entrance includes administrative building, tourism arrangement centre, arrival plaza, ticketing, parking, and canteen facilities. Besides, the  biological park towards artisan village will have wide roads,  with footpath and greenery.

Another gate is being constructed at the Artisan village - which aims to create a total ’village’ atmosphere.

The Artisan village will accommodate various schemes of the state and central government particularly Janapada Loka.  He emphasised on including Western Ghats as the theme of the park.
