Liquor shops to be closed on polling, counting days

Mangaluru, Mar 26, 2024: The Deputy Commissioners of Dakshina Kannada  and Udupi districts have issued an order for closure of all wine and liquor shops, distilleries from April 24, 6 pm to April 26 (polling day) midnight and from June 3 till midnight of June 4 in the wake of counting of votes.

 

The measure has been taken to ensure maintenance of law and order during the elections.
