Liquor ban in Udupi district from April 16 to 18

Udupi, Apr 05, 2019: Udupi Deputy Commissioner Hephsiba Rani Korlapati has  issued an order enforcing liquor ban in the district  from 6 pm on April 16 upto midnight of April 18, the day when Lok Sabha elections will be held in the district.

All liquor stores, depots, distilleries will remain  closed during the period while liquor sale will not be allowed even in petty shops and hotels during the  period.

As Byndoor goes to polls on April 23, liquor ban will be enforced there from April 21 till the midnight of April 23.
