Lightning strikes house at Vamanjoor; woman, child injured

Mangaluru, Oct 17, 2023: A woman and a child sustained injuries following a short circuit during a lightning strike at their house at Amrith Nagar in Vamanjoor on October 16, Monday evening.

 

The lightning struck the house of Gopal Poojary, Electrical equipment, switch board and meter box have been damaged.  The sound of thunder has led to damage in the ears of a woman and her five year old child. Both have been hospitalized.
