Lightning damages house at Pajir near Konaje

Mangaluru, June 19, 2018: A house  at Bengodipadavu in Pajir village near Konaje was damaged in lightning strike  on June 19, Tuesday evening. Luckily no one was hurt.

 

The walls of the house have developed cracks and window panes shattered due to the lightning strike. Even the electronic equipment in the house and the electric meter were burnt.

The house belongs to Sadashiva Shetty. Two persons who were in the house when lightning  struck were lucky enough to escape as they were in another room.
