Last rites of soldier from Belthangady performed with full honours

Belthangady, June 18, 2020:    The last rites of  Sandesh Shetty, a soldier in the Indian Army, who  died    due to heart attack,  were performed at  his native village of Barya in Belthangady taluk on June 17, Wednesday with full honours.

 

Thirty four year old  Sandesh who was in hometown on a holiday had  left for Mathura in Uttar Pradesh to rejoin duty just on Monday. However he suffered a cardiac arrest at the quarantine centre there and passed away.
