Landslide near Bejai Battagudda ; traffic affected

Mangaluru, July 22, 2019: Heavy rain that has been lashing the city since the past few days has led to landslip at Bejai Battagudda. Loose soil and  huge boulders from the hilly area adjacent to the road have  landed on the road disrupting vehicular traffic.

 

An ambulance had just passed through  the road  when land slide occurred. A bike rider however sustained minor injuries.

Kadri Police have arrived at the spot. A JCB too has arrived to clear the road of the soil and boulders.
