Landslide blocks railway tracks at Padil

Mangalore, Aug 1: The railway track near the Padil Railway Station was blocked by a landslide, which occurred on Aug 1, Sunday. A JCB was immediately brought to the spot and work on clearing the debris commenced. 

 

 

 

 

According to railway officials, the landslide occurred at 7:30 a.m. and three JCBs were used to clear the tracks.

On July 31, Saturday, a similar landslide had blocked traffic for several hours on the national highway of Padil.
