LPG tanker overturns at Thumbay. Disaster averted.

Thumbay, Mangaluru, Feb 14: An LPG fully loaded tanker lost control and overturned in the highway at Thumbay today, Sunday February 14, 2016. The Driver escaped with serious injuries.

The fully loaded gas tanker was in its way to Mangaluru to Bangalore. The accident occurred near the BA college at Thumbay. It is said that there was no leakage of gas due to accident. However diesel from the trucks fuel tank had spilled the area which created fear and panic.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Police and fire force have reached the location and are supervising the safety precautions. A big tragedy has been averted as there was no gas leakage. The traffic was affected for a while.
