Kundapur : Youth fatally run over by train

Kundapur, July 28,2016 : A young man hailing from Rajadi near Tallur lost his life when he was reportedly run over by a train while crossing a railway track near a bridge at Kanyana  near Hattiyangady on July 27, Wednesday evening.

The deceased youth is Raghavendra Poojary (28). The tragedy struck when Raghavendra was returning home after  purchasing fish, curds and milk from the Katbeltur market. The impact of the  mishap was such that Raghavendra was thrown off the bridge. People who rushed  to the spot initially found only the fish, curds and milk strewn around and finally spotted the body of Raghavendra among the bushes.

He was the son of Sakku Poojary and Timma couple. Kundapur Police have registered a case.
