Kundapur : Youth drowns in sea; 2 others rescued

Kundapur, May 18, 2019 : A youth drowned while two others  were rescued  while swimming at the Kome beach in Thekkatte on May 17, Friday.

The deceased is Sujith (23). The other two namely Akshay (23) and Sukruth(30) have been hospitalised.

The three were part of a 15-member group which had come  from Bengaluru to attend a wedding at Manjeshwar. After the wedding function all of them had  come to a resort at Kome when tragedy struck.

Sources said the trio ventured into swimming despite warning from locals.
