Kundapur : Youth arrested on charges of raping minor

Kundapur, June 4, 2015: Byndoor police arrested Abdul Fauzam (21), a resident of Mundalli in Bhatkal  for allegedly raping a minor girl in Meidinpur near Shiroor on Wednesday, June 3.

 
It is said that Fauzam was well-acquainted with the girl’s family belonging to the same caste and hence he used to frequently visit her house. He is said to have taken advantage of the girl during few of his visits. Not only that, he is also learnt to have told the girl not to reveal the issue.

 
After her family learnt about the matter, a complaint was lodged against Fauzam.

 

After conducting his potency test in Kundapur government hospital, Fauzam was produced before the court.
