Kundapur : Woman stabbed by brother, succumbs in hospital

Kundapur, July 28, 2018: A woman named Vijaya Bhandary (50) from Kundapur who was reportedly stabbed by her brother on July 22, has died in the hospital on July 28, Saturday.

The accused  Annappa Bhandary (45) has been arrested by the police. The victim who was unmarried was staying with her brother Annappa who was running a saloon. It is learnt, he was always harassing her for money.

On the night of July 22, Annappa who arrived home demanded that Vijaya handed over her gold to him. When she refused he had stabbed her. She was then immediately rushed to the KMC Hospital.

Kundapur police are investigating the case.
