Kundapur: Woman gets 3 year Jail term for Murdering daughter-in-law.

Kundapur, August 29, 2015: The district and session court here sentenced three year jail term for a woman for brutally murdering daughter in law near Kundapur.

The accused Chandravathi is a wife of Nagappa Acharya from Shirror near Kundaur taluk.

The incident took place on May 2014, when Chandravathy and Nagaratna over an argument relating to wearing a sari. Chandravathy poked scissor into her daughter-in-law, Nagaratna’s neck in anger.

Nagaratna who was allegedly bleeding ran out of the house and fell on the ground and breathed her last.

A case was registered against Chandravathy in Byndoor police station.

The district and session court sentenced Chandravathy three year jail term after conducting the hearing and examining the evidences. Chandravati was found guilty in the case.
