Kundapur: Tempo driver injured in a serial accident

Kundapur,July 21, 2015: A serial accident took place in Mullikate in Kundapur Taluk on July 20, Monday afternoon.  The driver of the TATA407 tempo was seriously injured in the accident. The injured person is Narasimha Mogaveera,39 years old. He is a resident of Tallur Sabladi in Kundapur.

It is said that the truck plying from Byndoor to Kundapur hit a WagonR car which was moving in the same direction. The accident took place when the truck driver tried to over take the car, collided with a tempo coming from the opposite direction. In this accident, the  car had toppled and the tempo was completely damaged. The tempo was cleared from the spot with help of a crane.

There was traffic jam in this area for an hour. The Gangolli Sub-Inspector Subbanna visited the spot.

A case has been registered in Kundapur Policce station and investigation is going on.
