Kundapur: Shopkeeper attacked by goons; cash, gold robbed

Kundapur, Sep 15, 2018: A gang  of assailants which barged into a  shop at Thekkatte  attacked the shop keeper and robbed cash and snatched a part of his gold chain before escaping from the scene.

The incident took place on September 13, evening. The  six member gang  had also reportedly damaged the CCTV camera before attacking the shopkeeper Krishnamurthy Kottary who owns SM Enterprises at Thekkatte.

He has identified the accused as Shashi, Girish, Sandesh, Sudeep Shetty and Butler Santosh. He also stated that  the accused only succeeded in taking away a piece of gold chain he was wearing  as it was cut into two pieces when the assailants pulled it from his neck.

Krishnamurthy is presently admitted to a  private hospital at Koteshwar. Kundapur Police are investigating the case
