Kundapur: Rider dies, another critical in head-on collision between 2 bikes

Kundapur, Nov 29, 2015 : A bike rider lost his life while  another rider sustained critical injuries in a  head-on collision between two bikes at Shiroor on November 28, Saturday.

The deceased is Venkatramana Nayak (44). Nayak along with Jayanth was  on way to Kundapur to meet a relative when their bike  was hit by another bike from the opposite direction. The rider of the other bike, Sandeep Shetty of Shankernarayana who sustained serious injuries is undergoing treatment at the KMC Hospital in Manipal.

The deceased Venkatramana Nayak was an autorickshaw driver and is survived by his wife and three children.

Byndoor police have registered a case.
