Kundapur : Pedestrian killed by a speeding car

Kundapur Aug 17, 2016: A speeding car knocks down the pedestrian killing him on the spot on National Highway 66 at Kota on August 16, Tuesday.

The deceased is identified as Gopala. He was 38 years, resident of Halavalli in Koteshwar. He worked in a canteen in Kota.

 

It is learnt that Gopala was on his way back home from Canteen as usual. A speeding Swift car plying towards Kundapur knocked him. In the accident Gopala breathed his last on the spot.  But the driver fled without stopping the car. The locals managed to catch the driver and handed him over to the police.

The case has been registered in Kundapur police station.
