Kundapur : Minister Jayamala inaugurates Indira canteen

Kundapur, Nov 22, 2018: Udupi District in-charge Minister and  State Minister for Kannada and Culture  Dr Jayamala inaugurated the Indira Canteen at Shastri Circle here on November 21, Wednesday. The enforcement of election code of conduct during the recent bye-elections had delayed the inauguration of the canteen.

Speaking on the occasion, Jayamala said the Indira canteens in the state are benefitting nearly 1.4 lakh people.

Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis, MLC Pratapchandra Shetty and others were present.

The new Indira Canteen will cater to 300 people daily.
