Kundapur : Locals bash up youth who tried to kidnap 6 yr boy

Kundapur, Mar 6, 2017: A youth who reportedly tried to kidnap a six year old child  who was playing near the Shree Kantheshwara Temple here was  trapped and beaten up by the public on March 5, Sunday evening.

It is learnt that the accused tried to pull the boy who was riding a bicycle and tried to escape with him just as the boy told him that there was CCTV camera in his house.

Locals rushed to the spot on hearing the boy’s screams, caught hold of the youth and thrashed him.

The accused  is a worker  involved in the  construction of a temple near Kumbhashi.

A complaint has been lodged with the police.
