Kundapur : Leopard that caused panic finally trapped

Kundapur, Nov 27, 2019:  A leopard which  had created panic  among locals in Guddattu area near Thekkate in Kundapur since the past several months  has finally fallen into the trap laid for it by the Forest Department, on November 26, Tuesday night.

 

The Forest personnel had placed a cage  in a private land at  Guddattu in Yadadi-Matyadi village. The leopard which fell inside the bone was  rescued and  released in the forest.

Locals have been complaining since long that their pet animals were missing. It is suspected that the leopard had devoured the pet animals.

The trapped male leopard is estimated to be five years old.
