Kundapur Labourer drowns in sea, another rescued

Kundapur, Nov 23, 2020:    A labourer drowned while another person was rescued while  swimming  in the sea at Enkodi beach area near here on November 23, Monday afternoon.

 

The  deceased is Manju (38) from Nalagunda in Belagavi district. Manju along  with another person had entered the sea water to swim. However very soon both were swept away by a giant wave. Locals who noticed them drowning managed to rescue one of them.

The body  of Manju has been shifted to the Kundapur Government Hospital mortuary.
