Kundapur: LPG Gas Tanker knocks into a parked 407 Truck, 1 dead and 3 injured

Kundapur, July 30, 2106: A tanker knocks into parked 407 truck killing one person and injuring three seriously sitting in a nearby shop. The accident occurred on National Highway 66 at Tekkatte in Kundapur on July 30, Saturday.

The deceased is identified as Annappa Poojary. He was 53 years old ,resident of Tekkatte.

It  is learnt that a Speeding Gas tanker was plying from Maharasatra to Managluru. As the drivers veered the steering towards extreme left in order to hit another Tanker the accident occurred. He rammed into a parked 407 truck and later drags towards a nearby shop.  Annappa and the three other persons were sitting in the shop. Annappa died on the spot, the injured are being treated at a Hospital in Koteshwar.

A case has been registered in Kota police station.
