Kundapur : HM behind bars for sexually harassing minor student

Kundapur, Feb 6,2014: The headmaster of a school who ought to have been a role model to his students, has instead landed behind bars for  sexually harassing a minor student of his school.

The Gangolli police arrested  Kirti Kumar Shetty (38), headmaster of a school at Trasi on February 5, Wednesday after a  seventh standard student lodged a complaint against him. The accused hailed from Herikudru.

It is learnt, he had  molested the girl on January 24 afternoon  in the school premises. The headmaster also served as  physical education teacher in the school.

The arrested headmaster has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
