Kundapur: Father of 4 arrested for trying to molest 2 minor girls

Kundapur, April 27, 2015 : Kundapur police have arrested a father of four  on the charges of  attempting to sexually assault two minor girls.The victims, both cousins, aged four and five respectively who were ill following  the incident  have been admitted to Kundapur Government Hospital.

 

 

The accused has been identified as Timma, aged around 45, and a resident of  Kenchanur Dalit Colony near Kundapur. It is said Timma who was under the influence of alcohol,  saw the two girls playing in front of their house, tried to pounce on them taking advantage of the absence of elders in the house.

The little girls who were terrified raised a cry amid his tight clutches. The locals who rushed to the spot on hearing the screams of the girls were shocked to see the state of the two girls. Timma who fled the place, was later caught hold of by locals and handed over to the police.
