Kundapur : Complaint filed against Headmistress for misusing school funds

Kundapur: July 11, 2015: The Block Education officer ( BEO) Shobha Shetty (45) on Friday registered a case against the Headmistress of Badakere Government Higher Primary School Hangaluru, Kurshida Begum for allegedly misusing the school development funds.

 

According to the sources, the school headmistress Kurshida Begum had misused Rs 4,39,597/- which was given by the donors for the school development.

Kurshida Begum was serving as the school headmistress for almost 8 years. During her tenure she did not follow the government rules for using the school funds. She duped the money which was meant for the developmental work.


Baffled over misusing of funds, the BEO Shobha Shetty lodged a complaint against Kurshida Begum at Kundapur police station.

A case has been registered at local police station against Kurshida under section 409 IPC.
