Kundapur: Bus - truck head on collision in Hemmadi , truck driver injured

Kundapur, Dec 13, 2016: The driver injured as a private luxury bus collides with his fish laden truck on NH 66 in Hemmadi , NH 66 on December 13, Tuesday.

It is learnt that private luuuxy bus plying from Belagavi to Dhramastala crashed into a fish laden truck in Hemmadi. The impact of the accident was such that truck driver was trapped inside the vehicle, he was removed outwith the help of locals and was rushed to hospital in Kundpur.

Sources say that the accident occurred as the driver tried to over other vehicle. No other injuries reported.

Kundapur police reached the spot and Investigations are in progress.
