Kundapur: Boy drowns in swimming pool of private resort

Kundapur, April 12, 2024: A 10 year old boy has drowned while  making merry in the swimming pool of a private resort at Shankernarayana on Eid day on Thursday.

 

The deceased boy is Muhammad Ariz (10). The boy had been to the resort at Hengavalli on Thursday along with his family. He was found in a critical state after he fell into the water. Though he was rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved.

The negligence on the part of the resort management is blamed for the tragedy. The family alleged that the resort management had failed to provide life jackets and other safety gear.

The deceased boy was a fourth standard student of Darussalam English Medium School of Hoode.
