Kundapur: Bank manager dies as speeding lorry hits bike

Kundapur, Feb 19, 2024: A bank manager has lost his life when his two-wheeler was hit by a lorry from behind  in the accident that took place near the Arate bus stand on NH 66 on Saturday.

 

The deceased is Rahul Balakrishna Ranakambe. He served as the manager of the  Maravanthe branch of Canara Bank.Rahul who hailed from Navimumbai was returning to his home in Kundapur when the speeding lorry hit him. Though he was immediately rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved.

Though the lorry driver fled the scene of the accident, he was caught hold of by locals and handed over to the police.
