Kundapur : 9 yr boy dies in bicycle-mini bus collision

Kundapur, May 26, 2015: In a tragic road mishap, a nine year old boy who was pillion riding a cycle  lost his life while the cyclist sustained serious injuries when a mini bus knocked down the bicycle  at Koni  on May 25, Monday night.

 

The deceased is Ranjith, a standard II student of Venkatramana English Medium School. His friend Mithun (16) was riding the bicycle. The two boys, both residents of Hangalur were returning from a relative’s house at Moodlakatte when the mishap  took place.

Ranjith’s parents are from Nepal but are settled in Hangalur where they have found a job. The local police have registered a case.
